System Specifications
The many parts that make up the SGF include optical, electronic, software and mechanical components.
The SLR technique requires a short pulsed laser, a detector, a fast moving telescope, a timing system and a software suite. Additional equipment, such as filters and cameras are also very important for successful operation.
The SGF also operates an absolute gravimeter, a hydrogen maser, meteorological equipment, a digital level, a LiDAR photomultiplier and GNSS sites.
