European Network

A European regional network of 10 sites solved using GAMIT which is then stabalized to the SOPAC eurp network of pre-processed site co-ordinates.

RESULTS
HERS is an IGS core site situated approximately 10m from the NSGF SLR telescope.  It is fixed to a tall steel tower and enjoys a full horizon.  Above are daily and weekly plots of the HERS co-ordinates separated into North, East and Up components.  The drift of the European tectonic plate is clear in a North-Easterly direction

HERT is an IGS site situated approximately 136m from the HERS.  it fixed on top of a nearby water tower and sees a full horizon.  Above are daily and weekly plots of the HERS co-ordinates.

 Nearby to the NSGF site is the town of Eastbourne where the GPS site EAST is situated.
