Overview
The NERC Space
Geodesy Steering Committee meets annually and is
tasked with
monitoring
the output and priorities and reviewing research and
development
proposals both for the
Space Geodesy Facility (SGF) at
Herstmonceux and the British
Isles GNSS Facility (BIGF) at Nottingham
University.
The
committee has a
responsibility to the NERC science director to advise
on UK
involvement in Space Geodesy, and specifically on the
current and
future
direction of both facilities.
